Critical Analysis
A friend and I have a book club (Who Picked This Book?!) and because I’m quite the weirdo, I write detailed notes and analyze each one. For fun. Usually the result of my pages of notes is a review on Goodreads and a good laugh or groan in our group chat as we discuss our opinions. Sometimes, however, a review and IM isn’t enough for me, and I have to write an analysis just to get it out of my system.

This novel was a journey where it took 760 pages for nothing to happen, and ended with my explaining why that bothered me so much.
