Goddess Devine
Sitting high atop Olympus’ crest,
Gazing down upon the Gods’ wondrous toy,
She feels the love growing within her breast,
And pines for the one many call “Boy”.
The journey he received was more than a Quest,
And when he left, so did the Goddess’s joy,
It died like him, with the sword into his chest.
When he was gone, he left a mortal wife,
She cried, and then torn apart in birth,
Aside from her, the baby tasted life.
The Goddess then removed him from the Earth,
He became the God of the Hunt and Knife,
With his growth, the Goddess regained her mirth.
Now companions, they walk ‘til the end of time,
Hand in hand, the God and Goddess divine.
